La première journée de la phase de poule de la 22e édition de la coupe du monde 2022 continue ce mercredi avec la rentrée en lice de deux anciens champions du monde à savoir l’Allemagne et l’Espagne.
L’Allemagne en quête de rachat
Première équipe européenne qualifiée sur le terrain pour cette coupe du monde, la Mannschaft débutera sa campagne face au Japon au Khalifa Stadium avec comme priorité une victoire afin d’éviter le sort de 2018 ou elle a été battue par le Mexique en match d’ouverture.
Emmenés par Hans-Dieter Flick, les Allemands qui sont à leur 20e participation en coupe du monde, veulent à tout prix faire un bon résultat au Qatar afin de se racheter de l’élimination au premier tour en Russie, tandis que, les Nippons qui sont à la recherche de leur première ¼ de finales en coupe du monde, pourraient jouer les troubles dans ce groupe E.
Á titre de rappel, l’Espagne avec une équipe rajeunie, jouera son premier match dans ce groupe E ce mercredi contre le Costa Rica tandis que, dans le groupe F, on notera premièrement les débuts de la vice-championne du monde, Croatie contre Maroc et deuxièmement la Belgique face au Canada.
