À la 90+4, l’international haïtien, Brian Chevreuil a signé un but pour tuer l’espoir de l’AJ Auxerre de Carlens Arcus et offrir une précieuse victoire à Châteauroux (2-1) vendredi dans le cadre de la 36e journée de Ligue 2.
Au stade de L’Abbé Deschamps, AJ Auxerre s’est inclinée (1-2) face à son homologue de Châteauroux dans un match plaisant. Il a fallu attendre la 36e minute de jeu pour voir le premier but de la partie qui était l’oeuvre de Barthelmé pour les locaux. Les Bourguignons avaient l’occasion d’égaliser sur penalty trois minutes plus tard. Mais le gardien Berrichon Rémi Pillot a stoppé le pénalty de Ferret. À la mi-temps, les locaux étaient toujours menés au score.
9 minutes après le coup d’envoi de la seconde période, sur une belle frappe à mi-hauteur, Mancini a mis les pendules à l’heure en paraphant le but de l’égalisation. Rentrée en cours de jeu (84e), Brian Chevreuil est devenu le héros du match en inscrivant le but de la victoire pour Châteauroux (90+4) sur un centre de Barthelmé côté droit. Le ballon est remisé de la tête au deuxième poteau par Kévin Goba pour le jeune Haïtien qui trompe la vigilance du gardien de l’AJ Auxerre Michel.
Dans la foulée, il faut rappeler que ce match mettait face à face deux internationaux haïtiens, Carlens Arcus qui a disputé l’intégralité de la rencontre pour Auxerre et Brian Chevreuil qui a fait son apparition à la 84e minute de jeu. Signalons que Chevreuil ne disputait que son 3e match en Ligue 2 cette saison.
Châteauroux se trouve au 11e rang et comptabilise 44 points pourtant AJ Auxerre se contente de la 13e position avec 39 points.
