L’ancien buteur néerlandais Patrick Kluivert (38 ans) a été nommé nouveau sélectionneur de la sélection de Curaçao. L’entraîneur adjoint des Oranje a été présenté jeudi dernier à la presse.
Retraité depuis 2008, l’ancien attaquant du Barça (1998- 2004) va entrainer cette nation dont est originaire sa maman après les équipes réserves de Twente ou du NEC Nimègue avec pour objectif de qualifier ce pays pour le mondial 2018. Noter que, il a été l’adjoint de Louis Van Gaal avec les Pays-Bas lors de la Coupe du monde 2014 au Brésil.
Soulignons qu’au dernier classement de la FIFA paru le 12 mars dernier, l’équipe curacolaise se retrouvait à la 160e place.
