L’USL Dunkerque a connu un coup d’arrêt après avoir baissé pavillon face à l’AS Nancy (2-0) hier samedi dans le cadre de la 25e journée de la Ligue 2.
Cette rencontre ne suscitait pas une grande attention puisqu’elle mettait face à face les deux dernières formations du classement. Cependant, les Maritimes qui restaient sur deux succès côte à côte ont coulé face à Nancy.
Dès le coup d’envoi, les Chardons affichaient clairement leurs intentions. Pour preuve, ils ont ouvert la marque avec Thomas Basila (16e). Depuis, le score restait inchangé jusqu’à la pause. Dans le second acte, Mamadiou Thiam a doublé la mise pour Nancy. Puisque Dunkerque n’avait pas assez de ressources pour ni réduire la mise, ni recoller au score, elle a pris de l’eau (2-0)
Suite à ce faux pas Dunkerque ne bouge pas de la 19e place tout en comptabilisant 24 points et tentera de refaire surface face à Dijon. Soulignons que Leverton Pierre a fait son apparation dans la partie à la 70e minute de jeu.
