This summer, there we many transfers in the football world. Jozy Altidore, Neymar, Kevin-Prince boateng, Gareth Bale, Mesut Ozil, David villa, Kaka and Carlos Tevez were among the biggest names involved.
According to a document released by FIFA, 10,454 transfers happened between January 1st and September 2, 2013. A grand total of 5018 clubs in 164 countries were involved in international transfers. There were 132 players moved from Portugal to Brazil, and 98 players were moved from Argentina to Chile. The total amount for all transfers is believed to be 3.367 billion dollars (U.S.), which is 29% higher than last year.
