Les quarts de finale du championnat de la Ligue de Volleyball de la Région Ouest (LVBRO) ont eu lieu le weekend écoulé au Gymnasium Vincent, victorieuses respectivement du Volley 2000 et Banzai dans la catégorie masculine & féminine, les équipes de Tigers et de l’UNASMOH ont été les grandes gagnantes de cette journée.
Dans la catégorie masculine, l’équipe de Magic, fraîchement sacrée championne du dernier marathon de l’année, s’est qualifiée pour les ½ finales en battant Malfini Rouge par 3 sets à 0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-16), tandis que les Bleus de l’UNASMOH ont pris le dessus sur Atlanta, 3 sets à 1 (25-27 ,25-21, 25-18/ 25-21) avec un excellent Kervens Charles, auteur de 29 points.
Chez les filles, l’UNASMOH a battu dans un match difficile son homologue de Banzai 3 sets à 1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-17 / 25-15) grâce à Chenet Sarmiento, MVP de la rencontre avec 23 points.
