Derrick Etienne Junior a été décisif ce mercredi pour Columbus Crew face à Orlando City lors de la 32e journée de la phase régulière de la MLS, l’international haïtien a collé un but aux coéquipiers du Portugais, Nani dans une victoire (3-2) des siens.
10e à 3 places du playoffs notamment avec 3 points de retard, Columbus Crew croit que le tour est jouable à la quête de cette position prestigieuse menant au trophée. Et chaque l’équipe se lance à fond dans la bataille comme ce mercredi contre d’Orlando (5e).
Titularisé, Derrick Etienne a livré une bonne performance pour permettre à son club de s’imposer. Le numéro 22, après avoir vu le but de l’ouverture du score de Berry (20e), a corsé l’addition 11 minutes plus tard (2-0, 31e) pour conforter l’équipe avant la mi-temps.
En seconde période, Dike a réduit le score (52e), et Zelaryan, passeur sur les premiers buts de Columbus, a inscrit le 3e but (61e. 3-1) puis Orlando allait réduire le score à nouveau en toute fin de match (90+2).
