Pour le compte de la deuxième journée des ¼ de finales aller du championnat national d’ascension disputée mercredi au Stade Sylvio Cator et au Parc Levelt, la JS Fort Liberté et la Vision de Hinche se sont séparées sur un spectaculaire match nul (2-2). L’AS Borel, le Valencia de Léogane et le Violette AC ont tous gagné.
À Saint Marc, le club de la JSF a souffert mais a fini par s’en sortir. Menés 2-1 à la pause, les Fort-Dauphinois ont égalisé à la 50e minute pour arracher le nul (2-2), grâce à un penalty de Déravin Guillaume. Ce résultat nul est un grand pas pour les hinchois qui auront l’occasion de recevoir le match retour samedi prochain.
Grâce à une réalisation de Boutros Orélus au début de la rencontre, l’AS Borel a étonnement battu le FC Limbé (1-0) et prend peut-être une option vers la qualification pour les ½ finales.
Dans une première affiche très attendue au stade Sylvio Cator, le Valencia a puni son homologue de la Police Nationale d’Haïti par 3 buts à 2, les Léoganais ont fait un match spectaculaire face à une courageuse équipe de la PNH.
Le Violette AC tout en maîtrise
Le Violette AC semble avoir franchi un cap grâce à sa victoire en match aller des ¼ finale de la D2, il a dominé l’Exafoot sur le score sans appel de 2-0, après un premier période durant laquelle les hommes d’Itala avaient plutôt dominé les Léoganais et gâché beaucoup d’occasions.
Ce succès de prestige, qui arrive après avoir dominé la phase régulière du groupe Sud (I) , sonne comme un sérieux avertissement aux autres clubs de cette phase. Le plus ancien club caraibéen nourrit de très grosses ambitions pour monter la saison prochaine en D1, et il semble avoir les moyens de les assouvir.
