Après avoir passé une année à la tête du ministère de la jeunesse, des sports et de l’action civique (MJSAC), la ministre Magalie Racine a été destituée mercredi en se faisant remplacer par Himmler Rébu à ce ministère.
Depuis le départ de Lescouflair, aucun ministre nommé n’a montré avant sa nomination son engouement pour aider au développement du sport.
Soulignons que Magalie Racine a été la première femme a dirigé le MJSAC et a montré son courage et son savoir-faire dans ce milieu inconnu.
Himmler Rébu a étudié dans le domaine des activités physiques et sportives au Venezuela et a été le préparateur physique d’un des clubs local.
Ancien préparateur physique de la sélection nationale, celui qui a conduit les grenadiers à la victoire finale lors de la coupe caraïbe des nations en 1979, entre au gouvernement de Martelly/Lamothe afin de servir le sport à la suite d’un nouveau cabinet ministériel formé ce mercredi.
