MLS: 2013 Playoffs schedule

The MLS announced the complete 2013 playoffs schedule earlier on Wednesday. It will kick-off with the knockout round today when the Sounders host Colorado Rapids for a chance to compete in the Western Conference semi-finales against the Portland Timbers. On Thursday Oct. 31, the Montreal Impact will travel to Houston to face the Dynamo in the Eastern Conference knockout round. The winner of that match will advance to the Eastern-Conference Semi-finales to face the New York Red Bulls, the number one seed in the conference.

The Conference semi-finales will begin on Nov. 2, in the East, The New England Revolution will host Sporting KC while the winner of the Seattle and Portland match will face the Timbers.

The postseason will conclude on Saturday, Dec. 7, when the winners from both conference championship games meet for the MLS Cup match. The match will be hosted by the finalist team with the better regular-season record.
