U.S. Men National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann unveiled a list of 23 players selected for upcoming friendlies against Scotland on Nov. 15 at Hampden Park in Glasgow and for the match scheduled against Austria four days later at Ernst-Happel-Stadion on Vienna.
Jozy Altidore, who scored 8 goals for the USMNT this year, is on the squad called by Klinsmann as he’s still looking to net his first goal with his new English club. Terrence Boyd, Clint Dempsey, Aron Johannsson, Eddie Johnson and Chris Wondolowski are the other Forwards called by Klinsmann.
The US national team will conclude a stellar year which is highlighted by winning the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup and completing a team-record 12-game winning streak. The U.S. also clinched a spot for the 2014 FIFA World Cup earlier this year.
