La Fédération ghanéenne de football (GFA) a décidé de suspendre immédiatement, et ce pour un temps indéterminé l’attaquant Kevin-Prince Boateng. Celui-ci a insulté verbalement son sélectionneur Kwasi Appiah lors d’un entraînement. La GFA n’a toutefois pas donné plus de détails quant aux causes de cette altercation.
« Oui, je m’en vais et je ne fais plus partie de l’équipe. Ceci est la conséquence d’un différend avec l’entraîneur Kwasi Appiah », a fait savoir Prince Boateng.
La fédération a aussi écarté Sulley Muntari des Black Stars jusqu’à nouvel ordre. Cette décision s’applique avec effet immédiat. Le milieu de terrain est coupable d’une attaque physique sur un membre de la GFA ainsi que sur une personne du staff technique, lors d’une réunion mardi dernier.
D’après la presse ghanéenne, Muntari aurait frappé son sélectionneur.
